How do you spell coordination?

I am going to give you an exercise to do for coordination but I didn’t even know how to spell it!

We live on a ranch!

Dusty and I signed the papers to our ranch the day our oldest daughter was born! An exciting day to say the least!

We were raising Beefmaster Cattle at the time and had started a small herd on Dusty’s dad’s land. This was what Dusty dreamed of, having cattle, land and a family! Two of those dreams came true in one day haha!

We were really into the idea of having cattle and a ranch! My daughters going home outfit was a white long christening type of dress that I had monogrammed Dennis Ranch on. Now that I look back on that I just kinda chuckle. Just what you want your daughter to represent when you leave the hospital. It just makes me laugh thinking back on it!

One cold winter night one of the momma cows had her calf and the baby wasn’t getting any milk. So we brought that baby calf into the house that night to it up and make sure it survived throughout the night. It would try to stand up but it just didn’t know how. It would put it’s two front legs out in front but then didn’t know what to do with the back legs. Watching that baby calf was the cutest thing but I’m sure that baby calf was very frustrated!

It’s Frustrating when you can’t get the right parts to move!

When it warmed up the next day we took that baby calf back out to his momma and she smelt it and started licking it and then helped that baby calf get up so it could eat something. It still was awkward but with her help, some nutrition and a little practice, that baby calf was running and bucking all over the pasture the next few days.

Sometime you may get frustrated not being coordinated anymore, but these exercises will help you practice!

Exercise 6: Single Limb Stance with Arm

This balance exercise for seniors improves your physical coordination.

Stand with your feet together and arms at your side next to a chair. Lift your left hand over your head. Then, slowly raise your left foot off the floor. Hold that position for ten seconds. Repeat the same action on the right side. Do this exercise 10 times on each side.
